MORE INFORMATION"Without dreams, there can be no courage. And without courage, there can be no action" (Wim Wenders). In January 2025, we are celebrating a very special edition. From January 18th-26th 2025, we will hold the 15th edition of JIIFF in José Ignacio, Uruguay.
Aimed at duos of emerging directors and producers with experience in the film industry from all over Ibero-America, this program within Working JIIFF is designed to strengthen fiction feature film projects in development. The activity will take place in person in José Ignacio from January 22nd to 26th, 2025. At the end, a jury will recognize the projects with various awards to help them continue to develop; one of these awards will be the Pfeffer del Sur Fund for $50,000.
MORE INFORMATIONWe have created a new film fund to stimulate the development of fiction feature film projects. Thanks to the Pfeffer family, $50,000 will be awarded to one of the projects selected to participate in JIIFF Lab 2025. With the name Pfeffer del Sur Fund, this incentive is generated to boost Uruguay's audiovisual industry and its international co-production relationships.
