SYNOPSIS
A Real Pain tells the story of David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin), two very different cousins who come together to take a trip across Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when old tensions between the unlikely duo resurface in the context of their family history.

BIOGRAPHY
Jesse Eisenberg is an actor, playwright, and writer nominated for the Academy Awards®. He has stood out in films such as The Social Network, Zombieland, Batman v Superman, Now You See Me, and Café Society. Recently, he portrayed Toby Fleishman in the FX series Fleishman Is in Trouble, based on the novel Fleishman Is in Trouble by Taffy Brodesser-Akner.
Eisenberg made his directorial debut with When You Finish Saving the World, which premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was well-received by critics. He is also a prolific writer, with four published plays, including The Spoils, The Revisionist, and Asuncion. His play Happy Talk premiered at the Signature Theatre in New York in 2019.
