‍Musitelli Film & Digital is awarding a prize equivalent to USD 50,000 in filming equipment as part of the JIIFF Lab, an initiative promoted by the José Ignacio International Film Festival (JIIFF).

What Does the Prize Include?

Grip & Distro

Includes a grip and electrical distribution package, fully compatible with the lighting equipment listed above.

Specific conditions:

  • The prize applies to a single project only.
  • Equipment must be used for a maximum of four consecutive weeks of shooting, with no option to split the period.
  • Camera, lighting, and grip crews must be mostly composed of local technicians. Special consideration will be given to projects that include trainees or assistants in these departments.
  • The package includes the main gear typically required for production. However, Musitelli is flexible and willing to consider adding specific items not originally listed, subject to availability and compatibility with the production’s schedule.
  • The prize's value will be calculated based on Musitelli's current rate card and reflected in a formal quote.

General conditions:

  • The prize must be used within 18 months of being awarded — no exceptions.
  • The winner must register as a client and accept Musitelli’s standard service agreement, via a simple online form.
  • Production is responsible for obtaining and paying for general risk insurance. Musitelli will guide you through the process and connect you with an insurance provider.
